A study describing how biodynamic techniques (more commonly referred to as Biomechanics for Birth® or Spinning Babies®) are used in the active (first and second) stages of labour by midwives, doctors and women and birthing people. Insights will inform the design of a clinical trial in a labour ward or obstetric unit to evaluate the effectiveness of these techniques in supporting vaginal birth.
